"Epic Abstraction: Pollock to Herrera" is a wide-ranging survey that explores large-scale abstract painting, sculpture, and assemblage from the 1940s to the present. Truitt's 1974 sculpture Goldsborough is included among more than fifty iconic works from the Met collection, as well as a selection of loans, promised gifts, and new acquisitions.
